Building & Grounds Custodian

Job Summary

Duties include: janitorial duties and general maintenance in county facilities, such as Courthouse, Farm Center, EMA, Road and Bridge and other facilities as designated.  Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Must pass a physical and drug screen.

Salary and Benefits

Starting Salary Range (dependent on skills and experience): $13.60 – $15.91 / hr

  • BCBS insurance (100% for single coverage paid by county, 77% for family coverage paid by county, begins on date of hire)
  • State Retirement (begins on date of hire)
  • 15 paid holidays per year
  • Sick/Vacation leave accrue monthly from date of hire.
