Road & Bridge Foreman

Job Summary

Runs equipment, supervises, coordinates, and assists Superintendents and road crews in performing road and bridge construction and maintenance.  Crews consist of both skilled and semi-skilled workers using all types of vehicles, tractors, trucks, and heavy equipment. Must perform other related tasks as asked.

Requirements

  • Must have current and experience operating an assortment of heavy equipment
  • Must have CDL
  • Must pass physical and DOT drug screen

Salary and Benefits

  • Starting Salary: $18.16/hr
  • BC/BS insurance (County pays for single coverage and 76% of family monthly premium), effective on date of hire.
  • State Retirement effective on date of hire.
  • Fourteen paid holidays per year
  • Sick & annual vacation time is accrued from date of hire.
