Records Clerk - Sheriff's Department

Job Summary

Duties include various clerical duties such as Data Entry and filing, greeting customers and handling reception and referral duties. Maintains various legal records, reporting and filing systems of Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center. Processes various legal documents such as incident and arrest reports. Helps chief clerk with permits and Civil recording and others assigned duties by the Sheriff.


  • Applicant must pass a physical and drug screen

Salary and Benefits

Starting Salary: $10.41 to $11.32 /hr depending on experience.
